Pediatrics On Demand is an Urgent Care and Primary Care located in Oak Lawn, IL. We also have a sister company Minis Walk In Clinic. We serve patients from birth to 21 years of age. 
We are interested in hiring a local, licensed board certified Pediatrician who has experience working with children of all ages and various medical conditions in an ER, Urgent Care, and Primary Care setting. Our clinic is expanding, and as such, we are in need of a flexible, knowledgeable and compassionate physician who is seasoned in the care and well-being of children in our community. The successful candidate will accept patient referrals, provide urgent care and primary medical care, consult with specialists, respond to pediatric emergencies. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a warm, caring atmosphere where the health of our children is top priority.
Part Time: 2 11-12 hour shifts
Full Time: 3 11-12 hour shifts
Hourly: 120

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnosing and treating illnesses, medical conditions, and injuries.
  • Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
  • Collecting, recording, and maintaining patients' information and histories.
  • Prescribing and administering treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized medical care.
  • Explaining procedures and discussing test results or prescribed treatments with patients and family members.
  • Monitoring patients' conditions and progress.
  • Directing, coordinating, consulting with, and referring patients to nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff.
  • Advising patients, parents, and guardians on diets, activities, hygiene, and disease prevention.
  • Conducting research and remaining up to date on current trends, discoveries, and developments in the field.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from medical school with M.D. or D.O. degree.
  • Experience with high volume is preferred
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician
  • Physician must have and maintain license in State of Illinois and DEA registration with FDA.
  • CPR/ACLS certification is required.
  • Must have the ability to work with a variety of patients of all populations.
  • Ability to effectively work with diverse populations of patients, colleagues and outside agencies
